Rating: Summary: Luvin it!!! Review: "A Promise is Forever" is a very satisfying conclusion to the Christy Miller series. This book takes place almost a year after the last book, "Sweet Dreams." In "A Promise is Forever" Christy has already begun attending a local junior college, but doesn't know what to major in. She goes on a missions trip with Doug, Tracy, and Katie to see if maybe Missions are for her. She finds foreign adventure is her cup of tea (in more ways than one). Christy meets lots of interesting people, including Sierra Jensen, and is faced with making a split second decision that could change her life. You'll be very satisfied with the end of this book! I would highly recommend this book, along with the rest of the series.
Rating: Summary: The Christy Miller Series Review: I love the Christy Miller series. I could never put them down and they are my FAVORITE book, besisdes the Bible.I can't read one of her books without crying.Their world seems so perfect.Robin Jones Gunn writes excellent christian romance book, and I totally recommend them.
Rating: Summary: Best Series Ever! Review: I started reading these books about a year ago, and fell in love with them! And believe me after a while you can't help but fall in love with Todd, I mean he's to goo to be true! But this last book had me totally and completly hooked. I couldn't read it over again without sobbing! I was overjoyed when I fineshed it and was assured that Todd and Christy were back together. Imean it was too weird not having him in the picture till the end. I love this series and recomend them to all my friends, and I am looking forward to the College years!
Rating: Summary: This is a great book! Review: I think this was my favorite of the whole Christy Miller series (but I think I said that about every book in the series after I read it). But for all of you who wrote you wish robin jones gunn would write more books about Christy, she is. There is a book out called Departures, which has Sierra and Christy. And there is also a book about Christy Millers diary. And..... She is going to write (it isn't out yet) a series called Christy and Todd: the college years. So I'm pretty excited about those beacause I love these books. If you haven't read them before, I really, truly, honestly think you should (if you want).
Rating: Summary: Experiencing God through Christy! Review: I've loved joining Christy in this adventure and learning things along with her. What a great story to conclude the series! I haven't read all the books, but I feel that I really personally know Christy, Todd and Katie and Christy's other friends. This book finds Christy searching for the thing she is called to spend her life doing while on a mission trip in Europe. She is also realizing that her current boyfriend (if you could really call him that) belongs with another friend. So she lets him go and feels just great about her discision. However, there's something--someone, actually--Christy still can't make herself get over. Will God ever bring Todd back into her life?Christy, I just found a little thing that totally made me think of you and a certain acquentance of yours, here it is: If you love something very much, let it go free... If it does not return, it was not ment to be yours. If it does, love it *forever*.
Rating: Summary: I can't stop reading them!! Review: Ok, this is gonna sound wierd, but I have only read two of these books, and I can't wait til I buy this one. sadly, I know what happens, Todd comes and meets her at the train station. YEAH!!!! I am so glad Mrs. Gunn wrote the college series, and Christy and Todd get married?! YEAH!!!!?!?!?!?! I can't wait to read those hehe. GTG
Rating: Summary: The ending was definately the best! Review: This book is so perfect! I wouldn't change a word of it! Christy and Katie and Doug and Tracy head off for England for a missions trip. Christy and Doug are dating, but Christy can't get Todd out of her mind. Lets just say...if the last few pages don't have you feeling so happy and almost ready to cry (happily, of course) I don't know what will. And this book introduces Sierra Jensen, who is the main character of Robin Jones Gunn's next series.
Rating: Summary: GREAT! Review: This is a really good book! I would recommend this to anyone who likes to read. Mrs.Gunn your the best! I've read all 12 of the Christy Miller series and they all are Great! Read them all. I don't want to tell you how it ends but the ending is the best part of the whole book! I will give you a hint it has to do with Christy and TODD! Read it and your like it.
Rating: Summary: Last one in Christy Miller series Review: This was a great book. As usual, this book is very hard to put down.Christy goes to Europe on a mission with Katie, Tracy, and Doug. Though Doug is her current boyfriend, her new friend Sierra couldn't even tell they were together. And why can't Christy forget the "T" word, Todd?
