Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Fun for babies
Review: My 11-month-old received this book for Christmas. She has a lot of fun with it because it has a variety of textures to feel, flaps to open, and colorful and shiny designs to trace with her fingers. The concept of the book is a great one, and most of the pages are intriguing for infants.

The biggest problem with the book is the 2 pages with the "little piggies" that has several flaps for your child to open. The flaps are flimsy and can be easily ripped. I have had to repair this book several times because all the flaps are being ripped off! (My baby seems more interested in ripping off flaps than actually touching the furry spots in the book)

I would recommend that if you let your infant "read" this book, close adult supervision is required if you don't want to be constantly repairing the book. Otherwise, this is a pretty good interactive book.

Summary: a huge hit
Review: This book has helped my almost 8 month old baby grasp the concept of touching different textures. She anticipates each page, and best of all, she doesn't seem to mind that I don't let her put the book in her mouth! She gets on top of the book when it is on the floor in order to get to it better, and we used it as a prop to get her to take her first step. Highly recommended.
