Summary: A heartbreaking decision...
Review: Cindy has trained Storm ever since he was a colt. Now he is a full-fledged racehorse and he is blindingly fast. In his three-year season at Gulfstream Park, Florida, he piles up victory after victory. Cindy is cure that Storm is on his way to becoming a champion.
When they get back to Whitebrook(there ranch), though, disaster strikes. Cindy discovers that an incureable disease has spread through the area. So the vet tests Storm and all the other horses on Whitebrook only to find that Storm tests positive, and the vet warns that if they don't put Storm down(kill Storm),he may spread the disease to all the other horses. Cindy is heartbroken(that's were the book got it's name Cindy's Heartbreak)at the thought of losing her beloved Storm. But can she risk putting her other horses in danger to save Storm's life?

Summary: Sad
Review: Great book, really sad though. Storm just gets sick out of nowhere! whats up with that?! Cindy forgets all about Glory though, which bugs me. She's all ,oh Storm you're the best horse ever! and it's like, uh, yeah what about Glory, the horse that won the Breeders Cup by 33 lengths and wasn't lathered, and Storm gets REALLY tired after running a 5 furlong sprint. Still it's a good book that really pulls you in.

Summary: Tear-jerker
Review: I only have 11 in the thoroughbred series, because they are near impossible to find in the A.C.T in Australia. This book was relaly sad. The main thing that I didn't like about it was that Storm was too good to be true. The book went on and on about how perfect he is, and to me that gave away the ending because him being 'perfect' would make it so much more sad if he died. But i was definately crying! Anyway feel free to email me about this or just to chat!!!!! I'd love it if you did!

Review: Okay, so i LOVE thoroughbred more than and book ever made, but in evry ook ther sees o be at leas one mistake. like in this book on page 96 in the 1st paragraph it says that christina would be joining the group the day before the race and then on that same day on page 97 in the 2nd full paragraph it says that Ashleigh dismunted and stretched her arms out to christina, who Mike had brought out onto to the track!!! but christinas not even there!!!but its a sad book but i loved it. i miss joanna!!!! and cindy never likes glory and more. one book shes never apart from him but of course now that he doesnt race hes not in her life anymore?!whatever i still love these books!

Summary: SSOOOOOOOOOOO SSSSAAAAAADDDD
Review: This book is SSSSOOOOOO sad. I loved Storm :( . I am glad that no other horses got it but WHY STORM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every time I read this book it brings tears to my eyes. Like the sentance. " He gave his last, long whinny". THAT IS THE SADDEST PART!!!! I really miss Storm and I wish his only book would be a good one. I hope that there is a horse I like as much as him in the future books.

Summary: sad-sad-sad, but good-good-good!!!!
Review: This book was awsome! It's so touching! Here, "'Cindy...Say good-bye to him...You have to' Tears streaked down Ashleigh's face, but her voice was sure and soothing...Ashleigh knows how I'm feeling, Cindy thought. She knows what it's like to lose your horse. I have to do this. But a knife twisted in her heart as she turned to the beautiful colt...Storm stepped closer and put his head trustingly in Cindy's arms. Cindy hugged him hard one last time, holding his soft neck against her wet face...Cindy heard Storm's last, soft whicker as she left the stall." READ THIS BOOK!!! I cry every single time, and I've read it about 9 times.

Summary: A good Cindy book
Review: This one is one of the better Cindy books. She's less of a brat and slightly more believable in her behavior and her heartbreak over losing Storm. And Storm is the only Cindy-era horse that didn't drive me bonkers. The rare and touching moments contained in this book are yet another reason why Thoroughbred can NOT be cancelled.

Summary: Great!
Review: This story tell's you about a grey colt named Storm's Ransom, or simply Storm. Cindy McLean has been working with the racehorse ever since he came to Whitebrooke. Storm soon becomes a champion sprinter and is winning races all over the place. After one win, Strom comes home sick. When the vet tells Ashleigh and Mike to put Storm down, will Cindy make the choice to ever have another bond with a horse or will the death of Storm over whelm her?

This is a beautifully written book and is Bentley's best. The story tugs at you heart strings and brought tears to my eyes. It really has a strong plot and is very discriptive. Though Storm was just tossed into the books, you kind of forget that as you read along. It's like Wonder is tossed out the window and Storm is the main horse character. It has the right to be widely read. Five stars
