Summary: Great book for kids who love and dream about horses.
Review: Alec, during his travels overseas, sees a horse being abused on a dock in a foreign land. He boards the same ship as the horse.They are shipwrecked together, Alec and the horse, on an island. When rescued, he insists the horse be rescued with him and they live through an exciting time getting to know one anothers strenghts and shortcommings. This is an exciting book for kids as well as their parents who read it to them.
