Summary: Very nice descriptive tale of a day at the beach
Review: This book is excellent for young children and babies who have been or are going to the beach. It tells a sweet tale about a little girl's day at the beach with her mother. The child has experiences that are fairly universal to beach visits: she explores, collects shells, builds in the sand, swims, and eats lunch. The illustrations are simple but cute, and the text is descriptive and short enough for very young readers (including infants). Our toddler adores this book.
