Rating: Summary: Eh... Review: "Welcome to the BSC, Abby" is a fairly good book, but not one you'd want to read over and over again. Abby's the newest sitter in the series, and it will be difficult for her to have a fan base, especially since she replaced Dawn. I don't think it was exactly smart of Ann M. Martin to introduce a new character so late in the series. However, I think Abby is the most realistic characters of the series, and it is her first book, so if you're a fan, it might be a good idea to check it out.
Rating: Summary: okay book Review: Abby seems like a really interesting person, and so does her twin sister Anna, but this book focuses more on the music and art fair to support the programs at school, and Abby's home life more than Abby's adjustment to being in the club. I don't blame Kristy for being concerned with Abby because she had an asthma attack. Granted, it wasn't her fault but not exactly safe either if you're responsible for young kids. She seemed like a good sitter aside from that though, but mostly I enjoyed reading about the activities the baby sitters and the kids planned for the music and art booths at the fair and the prizes they made too. Anna seems really interesting too, really into music, I think she would have been a more interesting club member than Abby in fact.
Rating: Summary: okay book Review: I am a big Dawn fan, so I miss Dawn. They could've replaced Dawn with someone better than Abby. Abby is an obnoxious eigth grader who thinks she is so funny. Abby shows of that she is so cool. In the book she tries to help her mom and sister ajust to Stoneybrook. Abby should have never joined the club. Kristy is right when she says that Abby is a bad baby-sitter. Abby should have never joined the club!
Rating: Summary: satisfactory book Review: the cover is nice, and I love it best when they are planning the art and music fair and making all the crafts for the event. I think Abby's twin sister Anna is more interesting though. She's into music just like me. Each BSC has seperate leisure hobbies except a music one. Well we have jessi who's into ballet, but anna being into playing instruments would have made a fine addition to the club.
