Summary: A must-read for TB fans!
Review: Although this book took a few chapters to get me interested, when I got there, I was hooked! I couldn't put the book down.
The decision Samantha had to make between keeping Shining or giving him to Mandy, a disabled girl was so realistic and I had no clue which one I wanted to happen. In the end, like all TB books, everything turned out good. I am becoming a little disappointed that the book wasn't on racing that much. But still, a well done job. I wish that Mandy would become the next made character because I think she is courageous and inspiring. I can't wait to read number 13. Bravo, Joanna Campbell!

Review: another 5 star! great one, Mrs. Campbell! I love seeing broken down horses turn into winners. The only thing I don't like about this series, is every horse they buy goes on to win the derby, or be fantastic, dont they EVER pick out duds? seriously. But this book was good, a nice addition to the series.

Review: I have been reading this collection of stories since Wonder was first born. I am an adult now and I still fallow Ashleigh in her life and her families lifes. These books have never let me down. If you don't own them all there is something very wrong! I have read a lot of horse stories but these can not be matched!

Summary: Oh, Shining
Review: If you love Wonder than you'll adore Shining. I think this is the best book of the whole series so far! I have read this book over 12 times! This book just had so much emotion. . . and it's easy to relate to Samanta & Shining. Samantha knows if Shining is nursed back to health, she can win, and be like her Champion sister, Ashleigh's Wonder. GOTTA READ this one.

Review: Samantha finally got a horse of her own! I loved how Shining mysteriously came up all of the sudden and how Mike and Ashleigh gave it to Samantha! With a lot of love and work, Shining starts to live up to her name under Samantha's hard work. Then Shining starts showing potential to become a racehorse! It's Samantha's dream come true but will she have to lose Shining now? After all of her hard and exhausting work will she have to give Shining to a little girl who could possibly need her more than Samantha? Will Shining's potential be thrown away? Read and find out!

Summary: Should've stopped with Wonder's last race
Review: This book was okay. Samantha was really facing a delimma, deciding what to do. The little disabled girl's parents insist on buying Shining, but Sam is hesitant. Must Sam give up her first horse so soon? The only problem is that these books had no variety after Wonder. It is all about "can a rebllious horse make to to the big races" and "does blah blah have to give up this horse?" Then magically the horses stay with the owners and the rebels become champions. Yawn.
