Summary: Wee Sing top quality tape, book just okay...
Review: I love the Wee Sing series - great music with charming children's voices covering Bible stories, nursery rhymes, folk tales, etc. This tape has the same wonderful voices and pretty good music;however, I found the book that accompanies it has pretty shaky illustrations. For instance, the monkey for letter M looks more like a purple bear. Previous books have rich illustrations with depth. These just look like novice computer renderings of animals, even to my 2-year old. I do think in spite of the mediocre pictures, it is still a great buy for the price. You may want to go through this one with your child a few times to clarify animals and explain some of the rather exotic instruments shown: an elephant playing a euphonium, yak playing a yueh chin, etc.
