Summary: I like Ann Likes Red, too!
Review: Amazing. I don't know what possessed me to do a search for this title today--and I'm stunned (and thrilled) that anyone other than me even remembers it! This was the first book I remember reading, too, in kindergarten or first grade, and I can still recite it 35 years later. I well remember the excitement of the very first time I read it--what a sense of accomplishment! (I'm sure it's no coincidence that I went on to work in publishing . . .)

Review: Ann likes Red , was my very first learn to read book back in 1965! To this day Ann likes red remains a fond childhood memory for me! I have purchased a copy for all the little ones in my family.

Summary: I LOVE THIS BOOK
Review: Ann Likes Red is the first book I remember reading, and I even remember much of the text 30-odd years later. ("Ann likes red, red, red, red. A blue dress for Ann? No, Ann likes red...") I had a daughter in March (my first), and I can't wait to share this book with her. I'm delighted it's being republished in October.
I'm now an editor who reads books for a living, so this book definitely started me on the right track!

Review: Ann likes Red was one of my favorite childhood books. I still have my original copy(though it is very tattered, torn in spots, and even a few scribbles). I'm so pleased that I will have a new copy to share with my two girls, a copy with which I won't have to be so protective, especially since it seems to be one of my 5 year old's favorites, too. She loves to look at the pictures and try to read it to her baby sister and me; she does a wonderful job as it is a great book for any beginning reader due to the repitition, and the idea that a young girl knows what she wants, "red, red, red". Thank you to the author for bringing back such a wonderful, awesome book!!! Every young girl should have it.

Summary: I remember this book
Review: I had the set of ten books which included "Ann Likes Red" and this was my favorite one. My older sister Ann always wanted to read this one to me. To this day - both of us in our forties - we quote "Blue dress Ann?" I am so excited to get a copy for my little girl and to send one to my big sister Ann.

This is the first book that I remember loving. I've since become a book editor who actually reads for a living. I can't wait to share this book with my little girl when it is republished later this year.

Summary: Ann Likes Red
Review: This book was the first childhood memory when I was three and I would love to own it. I used to have my mom check it out of the library every time we went. I never owned a copy but would love to show my nieces who are little and any future children. It is a definite must be read to all little girls. Would be a dream for me to have it reprinted so that others who remember it and want to share it as I do can buy it.
