Summary: Typical troubles of young girls, and Wild Horses!
Review:
This is a fun story about a young girl who has befriended a wild stallion. This was the fourth book in a series, but the only one I've read. It is well written. I recognized that there was background information in the other stories, but the story was self contained enough to stand on its own.

The young girl, Sam, struggles with fairly normal teenage stuff. She struggles with algebra and other school subjects. Sam has to deal with a snotty rich girl who is very self-centered and hardly thinks of anyone else. Sam's family is working hard to keep their ranch.

Connecting all these pieces is Sam's love for a mustang, "The Phantom Stallion." There is a woman in town who supplies animals to rodeos. Sam is worried that the woman may illegally try to capture the wild stallion, and Sam tries to protect the mustang.

This is a good story for young children. One of my daughters found the series and has read every book she could get her hands on, and several of the books she had read more than once. If you have a child who loves horses, this is a good book to get.

Summary: An exciting book about rodeos
Review: I like this book because it tells about wild horses and rodeos. A rodeo contractor tries to catch a wild horse that is special to Samantha Forrester and she tries to save him. Other books I like are: Red Feather Filly, also by Terri Farley and the Heartland series by Lauren Brooke. (3rd grade - 8 year old reviewer)

Her name is Karla Starr and she wants to buy mustangs. Sam doesn't like that, but when Karla sets her eyes on the Phantom things go from bad to worse. One day while out riding she sees The Phantom's herd without him. Rachel Slocum begins to
hint that Karla Starr has got him. Sam's furious. Intent on hunting the Phantom down Sam goes from rodeo to rodeo
until she see's him in an arena, but he's been drugged! The vet checks him over. He is able to return to the wild.

This is a story about a girl who is determined to keep her beloved horse free no matter what.

Summary: The Renegade
Review: Sam seems to be good at getting into trouble, lately, and into situations she doesn't like. The Phantom seems to be appearing in places he shouldn't be, and the ranch is tight on money, a constant supply of worry for Dad and Gram. Then Jake has an accident, and the Phantom goes missing. Sam thinks that Karla Starr, the low-life rodeo contractor who doesn't play by the rules, has stolen him, but she has no proof.

This was yet another excellent book in the Phantom Stallion series!! There was not much of Jake and his cleverness after the accident, but there was lots of action to make up for it, and humor and emotion, and even some sadness. All in all, excellent. Can't wait for the next one!

Summary: The best book in The Phantom Stallion series!!!
Review: This book is great! I loooved it. It has a lot of supspense and emotion. The Phantom gets into trouble in this book and Sam is there to help him. He is put in a rodeo and is drugged to make him perform. This part in the book was very emotional to me. I highly reccomend this book. It's the best out of the series so far.

Summary: Good one!
Review: This book was written wonderfully and like the other books by Terri, they're written with 'excrusiating' detail! This one is filled with twists and turns and at some points it is hard to follow, but after a while you'll catch on and then you figure everything out really quickly. IN the beginning you might think it's a bit boring or towards the middle, but stay with it! It'll be worthwhile in the end, trust me!
