Very highly recommended for family, school, and community library collections, The World Turned Upside Down is quite expertly written by Ann Jensen for young readers in the fourth and fifth grades, with her lively and historically accurate text being superbly enhanced with the artwork of Marcy Dunn Ramsey, a section of notes, an extensive glossary, and a detailed index.
