Summary: You Remind Me of You
Review: You Remind Me of You by Eireann Corrigan takes a stark look at eating disorders, suicide and co-dependency. Because we are first introduced to the characters when they are still in high school and follow them through college and beyond, I would recommend this book for high school seniors and older. This book shows the harsh realities of life and love. However, it tends to get mired in the harshness more than is necessary. Although life often does not feature one happy ending after another, this book's adherence to melancholy and the unhealthy aspects of love and interpersonal relationships becomes trying as one reads.

Summary: real, and sad
Review: You Remind Me of You by.Eireann Corrigan was a book about a girl who is mixed up in love to the point where she puts her own life in danger. She is has a very low self-esteem because of her boyfriend Daniel thought she was too fat. Having eating disorders was her solution to this problem. Her insecurity led her to being curious and eventually experimenting sexual things. She also made other careless choices such as trying drugs. I think the author's intentions for writing this book were to show teens how eating disorders have an effect your life in many ways. Also I think she was trying to put out the message not to always jump to conclusions about yourself just by what others think of you. You as an individual have to stand on your ground and keep your own opinion about yourself. I recommend this book to any teenager mature enough to read it because this is a very real and powerful story of a girl taking small footsteps through her walk of life.

Review: You Remind Me of You is by Eireann Corrigan

I recommend it for Grade 7 & up

The book You Remind Me of you is a fantastic book. It is about a girl named Eireann who has an eating disorder. She throws up in bags and hides it in suit cases under her bed. Her parents took her door off so she doesn't throw up. You think it can't get any worse but through all of this she gets sent to the hospital because of her eating disorder. It is a very intense book with sexual situations.

The author's intension is to tell you not to start an eating disorder because of what someone says. You never know what may happen.

The book is definitely worth reading. Very intense but great literature and the book is one of those that you never want to put down. With everything going on its constant read, read, and read some more.
