Summary: A touching story, perfect for loved ones who live far away
Review: Beautiful little book. Each verse is just so sweet. I gave this book to my (adult) best friend when she moved 2500 miles away, and she cried when she read it. It's a great way to confirm your love for your child, but the message is ageless- give it to anyone whom you love. Nice, rich pictures, too.

Summary: Instant hit with my two year old...
Review: I bought this book for my four year old son when he was only two, because the artwork was captivating, and the storyline was sweet and easy for him to follow. He got to know it by heart and for a while insisted on touting it everywhere we went, and would "read" it to himself. I lost count of how many times we've read it together. He's four now and it's still a favorite among others. I'll have to replace it soon, because it's so worn out... and that's when you know you've got a great book.

Summary: A great book for anyone
Review: I first read this book to a little girl, but when I read it again to myself the true meaning of it engrained itself into my mind. It is a heart warming story of a mother who promises never to abandon her child and her promise to do all in her power to find him if he is ever lost. The verse is simple and the paintings are lovely, perfect for a child. But the idea behind it is for anyone, I have a copy of it on my bookcase and also gave a copy to my fiance. It is the most perfect expression of true love that I have ever seen.

Summary: Tell Child about the Determination of a Mother
Review: Myr son was 3 1/2 when he was kidnapped by his biological mother and taken to a foreign country. It took 9 weeks and much red tape to get him back. I wanted him to always know that I never gave up hope of his returning to me. What a perfect story to find. We have a dog who resembles the one in the book. James always says "that's you Mommy and Molly and there I am." It has been 3 years since his return and we still read that story at least once a week. Our adoption is final but this story is a reminder to him that I would never give up hope on him!

Summary: Not a Dry Eye in the Room
Review: No parent can read this book without crying. It's one of my all time favorites.

Summary: A Must Read!
Review: The first time I read this, I cried at the beautiful imagery of a parent searching for a lost child. This is a story that every parent/grandparent/loved one should read to a special child to assure them that we would go to any length to find them.

Summary: This is a really sweet book--and a good discussion topic too
Review: We just bought this book for our 3.5 year old daughter. It's got nice illustrations (though heartbreakingly, the first one shows a waterline shot of the Twin Towers) and simple, sweet text. My daughter enjoyed it right from the start, and was a good tool for us to discuss several things: 1) What to do when you are lost, 2) How to find help, and 3) the all-important reassurance that Mommy and Daddy will never leave you and will always look for you if we get separated.
