Summary: Dr. Ruth fans will love it, others may be put off
Review: There's really nothing new in the information Dr. Ruth offers in this book; it can be found in several other well-written books for the same audience. As always with Dr. Ruth, however, her answers are accurate, well-written, and as scientifically/psychologically up-to-date as you could ask for.

What she does add is her characteristic "hip grandma with a Ph.D." personality. I happen to like it, and I think a lot of kids are more willing to listen to someone a generation removed from them than they are someone their parents' age. Others, though, find her openness and up-front delivery uncomfortable or inappropriate. If that's you, don't buy this book.
