Review: White Bird is the first book I remember reading, likely in 1969. I have held onto my copy all of these years and am now reading it to my six year old son. And he is reading it to me. It is a moving story written in simple direct language. While this is a children's book, written in language a child can understand, the plot and story is thought provoking and interesting even to an adult.
