Rating: Summary: AWESOME!!!!!! Review: I really liked this book. DJ's courage of being able to go through all the therapy, and then ride again was really amazing. This is my favorite series, and although this book is kind of sad, the lesson from it is really good. I hope Lauraine Snelling writes more like this!!
Rating: Summary: Really Good Review: I really liked this one the best of all, once again Lauraine has touched me again as she has in her last two books of this series I feel just like Dj, not long ago I too was injured but unlike Dj mine was not that serious but just getting the courage to get back in the saddle again and starting to jump just like dj really hit home I was sad to see that this book was last in the series as I really like these books. Hats off to Lauraine! If I could write to her I would tell her thanks for helping me find my courage to ride again!
Rating: Summary: Wonderful horse book with good Christianity woven in Review: I was rarely so moved as when I read this book. I got it from the library after a long time of waiting for it since everyone else was always checking it out, and with good cause! DJ's struggle to recover from the injuries she'd suffered while rescuing horses from a burning stable are heart-wrenching at times, but always hopeful. Her trouble catching up at school is realistic and personal, and her faith in God truly touching. This is definitely a fine book, though I imagine it would be too sentimental for some people. The other books in this series aren't so emotional, so if those who read this review discard the idea of reading the book for fear it would be like a sappy made-for-TV movie, I urge them to try some of the earlier books first. On the whole, it's one of the best books I've ever read, and I highly recommend it!
Rating: Summary: Awesome! Review: I'm 13 years old and absolutly fell in love with this entire series. I am a horse lover and loved that this book didn't have any swearing. I totally fell in love with this entire series. I 100% recomend it to any horse lover. I would give it a million stars!

Rating: Summary: Great Series/poor ending Review: The High Hurdles series has been captivating. This last book, however, really did not conclude well. After spending 9 1/2 books to get DJ from 14 to 16, we find out very little about what happens prior to the final page. Ms. Snelling needed to either leave the ending hanging more, or add another book to fill in the missing years.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic! Review: This book was the BEST book that i have ever read!!!! It displays the courage of DJ's long road back to recovery, since the fire she saved the horses from badly burned her hands. It also helped me regain my courage to canter and trot down a hill, and to get over my fear of working around horses (like grooming) to be able to pick out their back hooves. Thanks soooo much Lauraine for helping me regain my courage!!!!!!! Three cheers for Lauraine Snelling!!!!! Please write more soon!!
