Rating: Summary: Great Classroom Read Aloud! Review: "What shall we do with the boo-hoo baby?" This book is hilarious, sure to make any 3, 4, or 5 year old laugh (and adults too)! Most young children are fascinated with both babies and farm animals, put them both together and you have a delightful, humorous story. The repetetive/predictable text in this book makes it a must have for all Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers. I am including this book in my lesson plans for my unit on Families, but it could easily be used for the Farm unit as well.
Rating: Summary: BooHoo baby make my baby smile Review: Every time we get this book out my 7month old son's face breaks into a big smile. My husband and I both go overboard when we read the boo hoo hoo part and my son goes crazy! It is just the cutest story!

Rating: Summary: A family favourite! Review: I bought this for my second daughter when she was 10 months old, it quickly became her all time most loved book, and her 2 year old sister loved to read it with her. Now with a new baby in the family my now 2 year old and 3 1/2 year old still love it, and read along with it. They also now know to find the reason that their little brother is crying - does he want to play, feed, sleep etc. It is easy to read, discuss and involve your children in.
Rating: Summary: Darkly Disturbing Review: I was a bit worried as I thought this book might be too young for my 2+ year old. But she loves it and it has soon become her favourite. It has helped with the tantrums of "terrible two's" (eg. "why are you being a boo-hoo baby?" and "I'm not a boo-hoo baby I'm a big girl...") and even better, has helped her understand what will happen when she becomes a big sister and what the baby will be like.
Rating: Summary: For Boo-Hooing Babies Review: It is odd to think that a 5 month old baby would have a preference of books, but this one seems to be one of the few that my son noticeably enjoys having read to him. When he is fussy, it even has a strange calming effect. Perhaps it is the funny animal sounds I get to make to him as I read (he especially likes the quacking duck sound). Perhaps it is the drawing style and the earthy color tones. Perhaps it is that the book is big enough for him to reach out and grab onto as I read it to him. Perhaps it is that he senses how much fun I am having reading it to him.I simply do not know what it is about this book that makes it one of my son's favorites...but I highly recommend giving it a try.
Rating: Summary: My 'Boo-Hoo Baby' Loves This Book Review: My 16 month old son loves this book, and has for several months. He likes to point out all the different animals and the 'boo-hoo' baby. As a matter of fact, he loves it so much, he doesn't even have to be looking at the book to enjoy it. He was tired of riding in the car one day and began to fuss. I started reciting the words from this book, and he stopped crying immediately. He even laughed by the time I got to the end of the book (ZZZZZZZZZ said the baby). I highly recommend this book!
Rating: Summary: We love it! Review: My 2 1/2 year old daughter and I checked this book out from our library, and I am now buying her a copy of her own. She LOVES it! I have the story memorized, so when my daughter gets fussy in the car, I just start reciting the book, boo hooing like crazy, and she cracks up every time. It's a great book!
