Review: I have used Whoosh! Went the Wish! with kindergarteners up and have been delighted with the results! As a writing incentive, students can see what happens when some of their words get caught in a bongololly tree (sentence fragments) and why their written thoughts must be complete! It connects beautifully with integrated curriculum and reading techniques such as readers' theater, choral reading, and predicting the outcome. Lots of fun! Creative!
