Summary: The Red Thread
Review: The Red Thread is a beautifully illustrated, thought-provoking picture book. The children are able to supply the story. My grandchildren love it. I wish it were still in print.

Summary: A beautiful book to nurture the imagination
Review: This book is a masterpiece of art, each page telling a new story with many interesting things to look at along the way. Through out the book you follow a red thread as it rolls it's way through the sea side, a garden, an enchanted forest, many surreal worlds among others. The book has no words, which is a bonus for its up to you to make up a story for each picture. Living in the world of The Red Thread are many wonderful creatures such as harlequins and pierrots, trolls, witches, muscians, artists, little borrower people, exotic animals and many children. There is also many cameos of famous peole from art and literature you can look for like Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Pippi Longstocking, Mona Lisa, Leonardo da Vinci, Picasso, van Gogh and lots more for you and your friend to find. This would be a perfect book for a child you feel is losing themselves into the terrible world of just T.V. and video games and need some creativity boost or to give to a grown up who feel they have lost their childhood imagination and are trying to find it. This would also be cool to bring along on a picnic to share with your friends and you could spend the afternoon making up stories. I believe this book will inspire most people.
