Review: London captures the imagery of sunlight and moonlight as a child's day unfolds and awakens his senses to the world around him. One can almost hear the duet of the whistle of the teakettle and the sizzle of frying bacon as slippers "whisper" across the kitchen floor. This book begs to be read aloud, again and again. It is sheer poetry.
