Summary: The word "essential" says it all!
Review: I took this book with me while visiting my sister and her family in Paris this Fall. It was so "essential" that the French kids (and adults) over there used it to learn English! They got a real kick out of it because it contains common phrases that everyone uses during the day! It focuses on everyday things to say and not the grammar etc. The pronunciations of words was VERY helpful as well! I highly recommend this if you are traveling to France and not so comfortable with your French! Now I need to find the "Essential English" from the French point of view for all of them!
