Rating: Summary: The Winner of The Most Touching Book! Review: Free Again is one of the most touching books I have ever read. It is about a beautiful Medicine Hat Pinto filly. She is blind, and her name is Faith. When she gets lost in a snowstorm, it is the Phantom who saves her. All the Phantom Stallion books are really good. I especially like how descriptive and realistic Mrs. Farley is. Sometimes, I feel like I'm there, like I'M Sam or Ace or the Phantom. And, Free Again introduces Trudy Allen, Faith's owner. I think this is the best Phantom Stallion book so far, and I hope Terri Farley writes a hundred of them.
Rating: Summary: such a good book!!! Review: I Love this book, it is so good, and really touches on foals in general, Faith reminds me of a filly at my friends barn sweet and mischevious as all get out!
Rating: Summary: Free Again Review: In the fifth book of the Phantom Stallion series, Sam finds a home for a group of unadoptable mustangs, including a mare with her blind filly. She takes on extra work to help the blind filly, causing tension at school and at home, especially since her grades have been dropping. Plus Sam is afraid the Phantom has lost all the trust in her he once had, and this upsets her greatly. This series is consistently good. I liked that in this book we meet another character (Mrs. Allen) and we get to know a character (Darrell) who we haven't heard much from. It adds a little bit of spice to the series, as well as the new horses and changing seasons. This book is definately worth reading!
Rating: Summary: Lina's Review of Free Again Review: In the Phantom Stallion book, Free Again, by Terri Farley, Sam gets into another exciting adventure. This time it involves a seemingly mean old neighbor. Mrs. Trudy Allen doesn't seem like the type to save the day- she doesn't even take care of her horses properly! However, she comes to the rescue when twelve unwanted BLM mustangs are endangered. Brynna, the nice BLM manager, has gone on a business trip and her substitute is a big know-it-all, who would rather put the sweet horses to sleep than transport them to a special pasture for misfit horses. Sam and Trudy Allen work together to create a paradise for unwanted horses, including a sweet, blind little mustang, Faith. In the end, Sam and Jake pull off a daring rescue on a cold, snowy night, and Sam snaps a picture that will win her the Night Magic photography prize.
