Rating: Summary: Great Book For Everyone! Review: Alice is back in one of the best books that Phyllis Reynolds Naylor has written! Alice gets trapped when some boys and girls were hanging out at Mark's pool. Alice can't swim in deep water. So when Mark and the other boys try and fool around, Alice gets in trouble, and she needs to learn how to swim! This is a great book that I recommend to everyone that likes to read funny stories.
Rating: Summary: This is an awesome book! Review: Alice the Brave is a great book. It is in the summer and they like to go to Mark's pool alot. Though Alice is afraid of going in deep water she always comes anyway just to hang out. One she was sitting in a chair and they picked her up and tried to throw her in the water. She runs home in tears and embarassment.
Rating: Summary: This is an awesome book! Review: Alice the brave was a very realistic book. It tells about a young girl who struggles not only with being afraid of water but with fitting in socially and family wise. She strives for a mother to comfort her and a friend to guide her. It goes through the difficult choioces, changes, and differences of being a teen. I like this book because I could relate to it and it's message, if I try I can. It explained everything with a very descriptive word choice and created a picture in my mind. even though it exagerated most things we go through it emphasized on many things we struggle with. It was confusing at parts but soon explained them and gave you backround information. All in all this book was very interesting and coming from someone who dosn't really read it's a big compliment.
Rating: Summary: Alice the Brave Review: I like Alice the Brave, because it's easy to understand, and the vocabulary is really easy. My favorite part of the story is when she says she can't swim, but after she tries and tries she finally gets it and suprises all of her friends. In some parts of the story it left you hanging there waiting to know what happenes next. I would reccommend this book, because I thought it was an excellent and awesome book!!!
Rating: Summary: What a scardy cat Review: I thought the book was very good because it is about a girl who is afraid of the pool and I like swimming a lot. Alice is a teenager who has been afraid of the water sence she was little. She decides she is going to get help from her big brother. He teaches her how to swim and she surprises everybody when she jumps into the pool.
Rating: Summary: Great Review: I thought this book was real great! But sometimes Alice can get a bit annoying because she's always butting into her dad's life. But I liked the Alice series because it's very realistic. Girls like talk about boys and school and stuff. It was a real good book.
Rating: Summary: Not Bad Review: This ALICE book was, frankly, a little disappointing. I love ALICE books but... I feel that this book wasn't as good as Phyllis Reynolds Naylor has written in the past. For other readers' information, this book is mainly about how Alice wants to fit in with her group of friends by hanging out at the pool with them. She hopes that they don't find out the truth, which is that she really can't swim. She gets embarrased because she was pushed in the pool by a friend but panics. Her brother teaches her to swim and everything works out.

Rating: Summary: What a scardy cat Review: This book is so cool! I read it last year and I loved it! Ilove all of the Alice books, too! If you love one of the Alice books, chances are you'll like them all. It even appealed to my friends who are guys because of the chapter about Elizabeth reading to Pamela and Alice, if you know what I mean. Anyways, BUY THIS BOOK! YOU WON'T REGRET IT! (i don't think.....)
