Rating: Summary: Instant hit during storyhour Review: Everyone I've ever read this to loves it!Don't forget to use voices and inflection while reading. Also, kids really seem to enjoy this book if it is read a fast-moderate speed. Don't take too long or the anticipation will be lost.
Rating: Summary: An adorable must have Review: Highly recommended! This is one of our favorite books. We can recite it by heart. The pictures are really good (better in this story than the other ones for some reason- Eddy just looks weird in the others). It's the best of Alborough's bear books.
Rating: Summary: Simple & cute with original illustrations Review: My daughter likes this book a lot. I like the rhymes and the illustrations have a neat 3 dimensional quality.

Rating: Summary: Outstanding Review: My grandson and I saw this book at a bookstore, and he had to have it. He has a bear of his own that gets misplaced at times. The story was entertaining and the colors were delightful. A book that we have read over and over. In fact he has had two. I just ordered his third, one at home, one here and one at his ggrandmother's.
Rating: Summary: Missed the mark for me Review: My kids love bears and teddy bears so this looked like a good choice. However, my 3 year-olds found this a bit confusing. The premise to the story is charming - a real bear and a boy find each others' teddy bears. The text was the stumbling block to me. It's hard to explain.... but for instance at one point the text referred to the [boy's] teddy bear but the illustration on the page was the bear's teddy bear.
Rating: Summary: Will want to read again and again Review: My son likes this book and it's one I don't at all mind reading again and again. Beautiful artwork, cute rhymes, cute story. Not too wordy, great for one-year-olds and up. We saw this book at a friend's house and it's also featured in the Children's book of the month club. I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: We love the teddy! Review: This book is a fantastic read for both child and adult. We bought it when my daughter was about 1 1/2 years old and she's just fascinated by the text and pictures. We use silly voices to tell the story and have fun looking at the pictures...if you look really hard you'll see lots of tiny animals peeking down from the trees! I missed those...the one year old is more observant! A gem!
