Rating: Summary: GREAT Review: I genuinly enjoyed this book. The title of the book (WCW: Ultimate Guide) fits its contents. It includes descriptions on all of the wrestlers in WCW and the weekly shows. On every 1-2 pages there is a biography on wrestler including title histories, finishing moves, famous qoutes and statistics. This book is great for WCW fans and also other wrestling fans.

Rating: Summary: Every bit as exciting as WCW was this past year! Review: If you enjoy action packed color photos but hate to read, maybe this book is for you! The text in this book has little depth; all we read is the various plots and characters in the now defunct version of WCW. WCW storylines came off badly enough on TV over the past few years, and they translate just as bad on paper. There are so many books on pro wrestling today that offer fascinating insight into the pro wrestling biz, but this is not one of them. If you want a flashy coffee table book strictly for the sake of photos, then this book serves it purpose. It seems odd that this is categorized as a "childrens' book." Even taking that it might be geared towards children into consideration, the writing comes off as superficial. There was a day when it was accepted that most books on pro wrestling portray the wrestlers as the characters they portray on TV, never "exposing" the true nature of the business. Those days are over, which makes this book sadly behind the times.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Book Review: This book captures the exciting and compelling nature of professional wrestling through it's stars. This book contains full color photos of your favorite superstars as well as biographies done by WCW Live host Bob Ryder and 1Wrestling.com's Dave Scherrer. A true guide to World Championship Wrestling, this book is a must for any true wrestling fan! Get all you ever could hope for out of a book, and then some! Very impressed with this item, and highly suggest you check it out.
Rating: Summary: Very Good...The Pics Are AWESOME! Better Than You'd Think!! Review: This book is definitely better than you'd probably think. It has a page or two per WCW wrestler (features Goldberg, Nash, Booker, Stevie Ray, Big T, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Rey Mysterio Jr., Billy Kidman, Konnan, Juventud Guerrera, Jerry Flynn, Ernest "Cat" Miller, Bam Bam Bigelow, DDP, Paisley, Prince Iaukea, Ric Flair, Hogan, Jarrett, Sting, Sid, Scott Steiner, Rick Steiner, Three Count, Jung Dragons, Lex Luger, Lash Leroux, David Flair, Madusa, Meng, Curt Hennig, Kanyon, Scott Hall, Brian Knobbs, Norman Smiley, Fit Finlay, La Parka, Bret Hart, Berlyn, The Wall, Dustin Rhodes, Terry Funk, Chris Candido, Tank Abbott, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Buff Bagwell, Vampiro, Hugh Morrus, The Harris Brothers, Disco Inferno, The Mamalukes, and Crowbar), providing the reader with various facts and info on them, such as some of their greatest feuds and/or matches, finishing move, titles that they've held, life outside of the ring, etc. Most already know all the facts already, however, the pictures of each wrestler are great, in full color. They made great pics. If you want a nice way to remember the "Old WCW," then this is pretty good. It also has several full-page info-sheets on the WCW announcers, backstage crew, Nitro Girls, referees, etc. As I said, most of the facts are pretty much already known, however, the full color pictures are a big highlight of this book. This is much better than most of WCW's other merchandise items. I'll say it's a 3.6* book, out of a possible 5*'s, being the best. 144 pages.
