Summary: Please, help me find Pablo!
Review: I must say how disappointed I am that this book is out of print and difficult to find. As other's have said, this is one of my favourite and most memorable books from my childhood. Not only is it a cute and funny story but it gives children several important messages: follow your dreams, respect others that are different, find your own niche in the world, be careful when building structures using temperature sensitive materials in rapidly changing climates, etc. I began looking for a copy of it a year and a half ago, without success. I ended up writing a jazz tune called "Pablo's Journey" (I'm a jazz composer). I hope that it will soon be back in print. I now have a 14-month old son and I would like to get a copy for him.

Summary: A great book!
Review: I'm studying to be an elementary school teacher, and I'm planning a thematic unit on the polar regions. This book figures prominently into the lesson and I'm very upset that it's out of print! My copy is *somewhere* hiding . . . I hope I can find it. Maybe a letter to the Walt Disney company or to the book's publisher would help get it back in print?

Summary: Disney, do another printing!
Review: Like the other reviewers here, this was my favorite book as a kid, and now that I approach thirty, it has become one of my favorite books again (that isn't implying an intellectual peak). My copy is tattered and worn as well, but is still holding up. Who would we write a letter to to get the thing printed again?

Summary: The penquin that hated the cold
Review: My husband has tried telling me about this book and it sounds great. I myself have never read it. I am looking for this book for my 3 year old and my 9 month old. I would love to surprise my husband with this book. If anyone can help please let me know. Thank you. This is the only children book my husband loved and remembered!

Summary: Pablo the Penguin
Review: Surprisingly enough, this book is about a penguin named Pablo who hates the cold. One day Pablo decides that he has had enough of this cold weather. "It is silly to be chilly. I will go where I can be warm all the time." Pablo decides to try skiing farther north, but the stove strapped to his back causes more problems than Pablo expects. His next attempt to leave also fails, but by the third time he has come up with a reasonably good plan: he turns the ice his igloo sits on into a boat and sails away. This causes problems later, but he still manages to find a nice warm island home where he lives happily ever after. The story flows nicely and has no awkward spots. The pictures are wonderful. I never realized just how expressive a penguin's face could be until I saw this book. The pictures are bright, colorful, bold, and simple. The whole book is a lot of fun. How could one not have fun with the idea of a penguin that hates the cold? I love this book for it. Loggie-log-log-log

Summary: Excellent children's book
Review: This was my favorite book as a child--my poor uncle must have read it to me hundreds of times. I searched for it when my oldest nephew was born, but with no luck (my copy is old, tattered, well-loved). I would love to find another copy!

Summary: We Received this book recently
Review: We are members of the Disney Book club and that was sent to us within the last year thru them. My kids are loving it as much as I did when I was younger. :)
