Rating: Summary: Mistakes make the book sub-par for Baby Einstein. Review: I can't believe I'm about to give a negative review to a Baby Einstein product, considering the fact that we own every dvd and probably 20 books in the series. I've been completely impressed with it all until now. This book is, like all others, visually stimulating and verbally interesting but the mistakes bother me so much that I really dislike reading it to my son. On the third page, Jane spies a tree frog with suction pad toes but I can't spy it anywhere. It's not there. Instead, there is some sort of touch and feel plant that I'll never know the name of because it's not mentioned. On page four, "hummingbird's two eggs" are mentioned but there are three eggs in her nest. The last complaint is a little picky but I'll still mention it. On the last page, Jane spies insects but then includes spiders, which are arachnids. I would have been happier if Jane spied bugs instead. All in all, I wish I would have skipped this one. There are many other in the Baby Einstein series that are perfectly lovely without mistakes.
