Summary: Bamboozled holds the magic of childhood.
Review: A child sees the magic that is inherent in all things. Children don't know what CAN'T happen, so they look at table legs and wonder where the feet are. Why can't you drive a sofa? Legge captures all the possibilities in his artwork and ties it together from the perspective of a little girl. Bamboozled is a great book.

Summary: The 10 points are for the pictures!
Review: This title was given to my 6 year old son: it is one amazing picture book. Every time we read it I find something I missed. The pictures are wonderfully surreal, colourful and complex; they can repay literally hours of study. The text is easy enough for him to read, which gives him a great sense of achievement. This is one of the books parents won't mind reading over and over

Summary: A treasure trove of surprises.
Review: When a young girl visits her grandfather, living in a totally bamboozled house, you can expect clever pictures to go along with a humourous story. Author and illustrator David Legge fulfilled these expectations. When he visited our school in September, it was very interesting to learn of the inspiration behind the book. 10 out of 10 for a great book.
