Review: Our local library purchased this book as a resource after our family adopted from Kazakhstan and requested information about the country. We were so excited to find that this was really a very good book to give solid background information about the country. We traveled a second time to Kazakhstan to adopt another child and checked this book out several times for our 4 year old so that he could have a better idea what he would be seeing when we arrived in Kazakhstan. I read it myself a couple of times and found that I learned a lot of the basics about the country that I had not been able to learn elsewhere. Nice photos, easy to understand and written in such a way as it is not overly simplified so adults don't feel insulted reading it.
