Summary: THE SUMMIT
Review: All of the books are GREAT.
Book One: The Contest
Book Two: The Climb
Book Three: The Summit.I love them all. I felt sorry that Chris was cut becaue of his age. Perry should have told his uncle he was afraid to climb. I was very sad when Tilt died. Jerk or not. I love Gordon Korman`s books SO much that I`ve got the urge to turn the axis of motion vertical. To defy gravity and leave the ground in search of some impossibly distant summit.
To CLIMB.
I`ve nearly gone INSANE wanting to go vertical so badly. My gole in life is to climb Mt.Everest up and decend and live. Gordon Korman, I LOVE YOUR BOOKS!!!

Summary: Do you want to climb Everest?
Review: Climbing Everest is no small feat, even with the aid of modern technology, and the author illustrates that perfectly in this volume. His discriptions of climbing, hypothermia, friendship and danger are as accurate as they are entertaining and leave the reader wondering if the author is a climber, or even climbed Everest! With a very well devoloped plot and even more devoloped charecters, this is an exellent bundle of suspense that is certain to spark an intense interest in Everest no matter who the reader is.

One thing that really struck me about this book is that, although the plot is very exiting and suspenseful, Korman still dosn't abandon the charecters and their devolopment for the sake of the plot, if you know what I mean. The charecters keep on devolping to the very end and overcome obstacles (especially the reluctant climber called Perry) even larger than Everest. And, the author offers glimpses into the charecters personal lives, (Sammi's electronic break-up with her boyfriend over e-mail comes readily to mind) something quite rare when it comes to modern, edge-of-you-seat children's action thrillers.

In short, a great book with the perfect ingredients for a final clmiax, with a touch of spice cleverly added by a very talented author.

Summary: EVEREST IS #1
Review: Personally I loved this book and I think that anybody who loves adventure books would too.
One interesting thing in this book is that you never know whot's going to hapen next. Ther's also lots of mystory in this book.
EVEREST is worlds diferent from Island or any other of Gordon Korman's other books. This 3 part series is a book to be read over and over again. It's not like any other book I'v ever read. In my opinionit's #1.

Summary: Do you want to climb Everest?
Review: This book, Everest The Summit by Gordon Korman is the BEST book I have ever read. This book talks about 4 kids going to the tallest mountain on the face of the Earth, Mount Everest. They get there and they go through tests to see if they have what it takes to take on the mountain. And then finally they go through the test and the instructor Cap Cicero says that they are ready. If you want to find out what happens next... then you will have to read this GREAT book.

Summary: The Summit, along with the 2 other Everest books
Review: This is my favorite trilogy of all time! I've read it four times now, and I'm sure I will many more. You follow the youngest Everest expedition ever on a quest to reach the world's highest mountain. There are challenges, like bad weather, and then one of the four is terrorizing the others. One of them doesn't make it, and it's just a really realistic ending. Plus, they do get a new record holder to the top! It's a great book, and I recommend it to everyone I see!
