Rating: Summary: Not Just for Kids Review: I love this book and the entire series! I have given these books as gifts to children I know for several years and will continue. In fact, I love reading them as much as the kids I give them to. Lucado teaches us in a simple way that God's love is for everyone. Throughout this series he has found a simple way to convey who God really is to children. I wish I had these books when I was a child. What a simple way to learn who you are in relation to your Holy Father. I would recommend this series to both children and adults.
Rating: Summary: Sexist? Review: I'd like to comment on the reader who found men curtsying offensive. You would rather pass up a beautiful book with a Christian message because the writer used the word "curtsy" in reference to a man? Please see your pastor and if he agrees with you, I pray for both of you. Get over it before your soul gets into any more trouble. This is the kind of sexism that gives Christians a bad name and makes the secular world wary.
Rating: Summary: Best of All Review: Max Lucado has done it again with his book "Best of All". He continues to teach life long lessons using creative characters that are able to captivate readers of all ages. Sergio Martinez does an amazing job making the story come alive for readers with his illustrations. I use Lucado's books in my third grade classroom and we always have wonderful, heartfelt discussions to follow. I recommend his books to anyone with children of their own or to an educator who wants to fully enthrall his/her students while teaching moral lessons.
Rating: Summary: It doesn't get any better. Review: My daughter's religion teacher recommended these books to me. Her words say it best, "It doesn't get any better." The stories are endearing! The meanings are simple and clear to young readers. I'm sending a set to my niece and nephews. You won't be disappointed.

Rating: Summary: Big, Small, Young, Old, Christian, or not Review: The students at my (elementary) school love Max Lucado's books and this is one of their favorites. It is a message that is told over and over again - everyone is different, everyone is special. But Mr. Lucado tells this story in a new way, simply and beautifully. As a teacher, I can't recommend it enough. As an adult, I appreciate the message. As a kid who doesn't want to grow up, I just love the story and characters.
Rating: Summary: Another great one by Lucado Review: We really enjoyed this book. We are always amazed at how Max Lucado is able to illustrate God's love in stories that children (and adults) can relate to. The art is a compliment to the story and completes this great book. Five Stars.
