Rating: Summary: This is the only book my son will actually look at! Review: I have several of David Carters books and LOVE them. No other books will hold my 10 month old sons attention. When we finish reading all of them, he always wants to read them again. I highly recommend these books to any parent searching for something that their kids will actually look at and learn from.
Rating: Summary: Good, but for little ones, choose Feely Bugs Review: Like all David Carter bug books, this is a treat. However, the intricate pop-ups of these characters make these books difficult to keep for little ones. The bugs are too enticing -- they want to put their fingers around every piece, and although as pop-ups go these books are pretty sturdy, some of the bugs are delicate and tear easily. This is a terrific treat for a kid who understands pop ups. For littler ones, I'd recommend Feely Bugs by the same author, which essentially can't be torn.
Rating: Summary: From a mom of book-loving toddlers: this is a classic. Review: Most pop-up books are curiosities that don't really work as books to read...this one does! Funny words, fresh images, and 26 totally different pop-up creations. (That's 2-3 times the number of pop-up pages in most books.) You can really spend a while with it. I'd rank Alpha Bugs right up there with Dr. Seuss ABCs as the most engaging and entertaining ABC books. My 2-year old loves, loves, loves it.
Rating: Summary: From a mom of book-loving toddlers: this is a classic. Review: My 1-year-old loves this book so much that I have to hide it from her after I've read it several times in a row. She cries when we put it down and shrieks with joy when we take it out. About half of the pop-ups are simple enough for her to do on her own. However, she has to "read" the book under supervision or else she'd accidentally pull it apart.
Rating: Summary: Alpha Bugs Review: My 16 month old son loves this book! The pictures are really cute and imaginative although many do not really resemble bugs. All in all a fun book but not destined to be loved forever since there is no story.
Rating: Summary: Jingle Bugs Review: My mom is a Teacher of 6 children ages 5 and under in our home. We LOVE this book! Each and everytime we read it we laugh, it is a wonderful book! It also teaches eye-hand coordination. Definitely a good buy!

Rating: Summary: wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!1 Review: My son loves this book. I have read it over 100 times. It teaches him the alphabet while entertaining him as well. We have two copies (one to play with and one to read).

Rating: Summary: Wonderful Reading for kids as well as adults! Review: This book is highly recommended. My 8 month old daughter will read this with me at least 4 times a day, and never tires of it. She is fascinated by all the pop ups, especially the 'pink powder puff bug' and the 'itsy bitsy inchworm'. I can see this book is going to be much loved, and we are now David Carter converts!
