Review: The illustrations in Little Raccoon's Big Question are wonderful. Little raccoon has a great range of emotion. My son (almost 4) loves the spread where all the young raccoons are playing in the tree. This is a book about a mother's affirmation of her love for her child - a subject that I have seen a lot of recently - HOWEVER, this book rises above the others. The text is spare, effective, and a pleasure to read (yes -again and again!). I love the illustration of Little Raccoon standing on his head. And I like the smart approach to the subject of a parent's unconditional love. This is one of the few picture books I will buy to give to my friends' children! A very good choice.
