Touch and Feel: ABC

Summary: Not as good as other Touch & Feel titles
Review: If you have several other Touch & Feel books, then you've already experienced all this book has to offer. Textures can all be found in other books. The book gives a word for every letter of the alphabet and one word on every page has a texture. The words they picked are unimaginative and the pictures are rather bland. I can't imagine why they picked some of the word/texture combinations they did. "Feel the soft clown's hat" are the words that go with a blue flannel triangle. If the book didn't tell me it was supposed to be a clown's hat, I would have never guessed. I would have spent hours wondering "triangle doesn't start with H, blue doesn't start with H, what is this?" If you've never seen any of the other Touch & Feel books, you might enjoy it, but I would highly recommend buying a different (or several different) Touch and Feel titles. "On the Farm," "Wild Animals" and "1,2,3" are all very enjoyable and much better than this particular title.
