Summary: A Bedtime Must Have
Review: A wonderful book. Why not ask " Mama, do you love me"? Everyone needs to be reassured of love, it is a natural human trait and to hear the little animals asking their mothers and the original answers is truly sweet. My 2 year old loves this book. The illustrations are fantastic and on some pages there are tiny little animals on the page too like a snail or lizard and my son loves to point these out to me. I recommend this book heartily. It seems to be under appreciated. A true gem.

Summary: Forever, and ever, and always
Review: I love reading this book to my daughter. The storyline is excellent along with the illustrations. We love seeing all of the baby animals asking their mommy's if they love them. It's wonderful to see how they relate their responses to their baby's to where they live with how much they love them. For example, when the baby rabbit asks his mother if she loves him and her response is, "Yes, little one, I love you as the earth loves you, cozy and snug around you, giving you a warm place to sleep. I love you as the earth loves you, forever and ever and always." It is wonderful to see how the book reinforces that you will be loved forever and ever and always. I look forward to reading this book to my daughter for many years to come. This is a must have for any child, mother or grandmother.

Summary: Beautiful book
Review: I love this book, I have been reading this book to my son from the day he was born, he is now 13 months. Now when I recite the first line of the book, he will grab it from his book pile and come sit with me to read together. I have even added my own verse at the end.
This book is sweet and soothing and I plan to give it to all the expecting mother's I come across!

Summary: Wonderful, comforting reading
Review: My six year old daughter and five year son both love this book and have worked together to decide who gets to recite which lines from memory. My son recites "Forever and ever and always," as he kisses the baby animals on each page. No matter what age, all children delight in hearing that they are loved and mine are no exception. Each time we finish the book, they turn to me with eyes sparkling and ask, "Do you love me, Mama?" and I try to compose an answer similar to the ones in the book. It's really a pleasure to read this book together.

Summary: "Do you love me mama?"
Review: My Three year old daughter loves this beautiful book, especially the "Do you love me mama?" line. She asks questions about the mama and its baby and why they look alike and how they differ. This is now my favorite book to read to my daughter when putting her to bed. This is a must own book!!!

Summary: Should a child ask a mother, "Do you love me?"
Review: This book had great potential from looking at the title, but as I read it, I was greatly disturbed. On every other page in the book, the baby animal says, "Mama, do you love me?" The mother assures the baby animal, it is loved. ...But my concern is that children should not even THINK to ask this question, and I feel that this book may encourage a child to wonder (or worry) about whether or not his/her mother loves him/her. I do not recommend this book at all!

Summary: Beautiful book
Review: This book is awesome, I read it to my son every night at bed time. It's so tender, speaks of the love a Mother has for her baby. The pictures are gorgeous, and the words are a lullaby of sorts.
