Summary: My 2 year old daughter loves this book!
Review: As I am typing this review my two year old daughter is looking at the picture of the "Big Egg" book and saying "Big Egg!" Each night we read many books together. She picks them out as we go. I can always tell which books she prefers based on the order in which they are picked. "Big Egg" is always one of the first books to be read. She loves the simple language and colorful pictures and I enjoy reading it to her repeatedly. It's fun to "act" out the different animal voices the Hen encounters on her search for the parent of the "Big Egg."

Summary: Great Beginning Reader
Review: This was the first book that my daughter read on her own, and what joy she had on her face when she read the last page! A wonderful use of simple words and repitition makes this a great book for children just starting out to read. I wish there were more books like this one! Catherine, mom to Caroline
