Summary: AN AGING MAN'S RITE OF PASSAGE
Review: I am 29 years old and I still love this book! I used to read this book every night before I went to sleep. I've spent the last four years trying to find the Fred and Ted book and everyone said I was crazy. They said I must have made it up. But I remembered Ted with his stout stature and red sweater. I remembered Fred all lanky and green-sweatered.

And now, I am whole.

Summary: A must read for every child.
Review: I bought this book for my son, it was his favorite and I he insisted that I read it to him everynight. When I became a day-care teacher, I took the book with me to read to my class of three-year-olds. It soon became a favorite of theirs as well. It eventually got old and torn, my son never forgave me for taking it to class. My son is now 20 years old with a son of his own. I am buying this book again for my new grandson. My son will be thrilled and I'm sure that my grandson will consider this book to be his favorite as well. This book shows how different we all are, yet we can all be friends and live happily together, because of, and inspite of, our differences.

Summary: My Favorite Book
Review: I loved this book as a child and recently found my copy at my grandmother's house. My daugther, who is 7, loves it too. Fred and Ted are best friends, and one is big and one is little.

The story keeps the child's interest and the drawings are simple, and pleasant.

I highly recommend this book for children aged 4-10. And adults will enjoy it too.

Summary: I didn't dream this book!
Review: I'm thirty years old and I've been searching for this book for 12 years. For the longest time, I thought it was called "Fred and Ted Are Friends". Thank goodness for Amazon's search-inside-the-book feature!!

The book is about two dogs (Fred and Ted) who live together and learn the meaning of communication and cooperation. I love this book because it reminds me of being at my grandma's house. If you've got kids, I'd recommend picking this up for them too to enjoy and treasure.

Just don't get rid of it when they get too old, because they'rgoing to want it again around the time they turn 25.

Summary: a nice addition to the library
Review: My son rarely likes to sit still for a story, so there are few "hits" with him. This book is one of them. He'll listen to it every once in a while, but he really enjoys "reading" it himself. The friendship is obvious, and the funny predicaments the friends find themselves in delight this 3-year-old.
I think kids who DO like to be read to would enjoy it more. There is a small story about friendship and problem resolution, and differences - opposites - are treated with humor. All in all, a very nice little book for the 2 - 4 crowd.
