Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: uummm... Review: I liked these books a ton. I am a big fantasy person (harry Potter, Lord of the rings, tamora pierce, etc) and i thought they were really good. one of my best friend lent them to me and i had the whole series (and deltora shadowlands) finished within, like, a week. I am in 7th grade and a big reader (at least two hours a day) and these books are great (but not as great as tamora pierce).

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Best Book Ever Read Review: Lief, Barda, and Jasmine have found the fourth gem of the Belt of Deltora and have escaped the dangerous Shifting Sands alive. The next stop on their journey to find all eight gems is Dread Mountain, near the border of the Shadowlands. But along the journey, Lief has a frightening vision of his ransacked, empty home, and fears his parents may be dead or held captive. But he is forced to continue on with the quest, because if the Shadow Lord is not defeated, there will be no hope for his parents at all. The companions reach Dread Mountain with the help of a peaceful species of creatures known as the Kin. Once at the Mountain, the three companions face monsters, evil gnomes, and most deadly of all, Gellick, the hideous guardian of the fifth gem. The exciting Deltora Quest series continues with this book. I can't wait until the next book in the series is released.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: great series Review: My 9 year old grandaughter loves this series. The 1st one was on her required reading list for entering 4th grade & initially she didn't want to read it because it "looked scary". But now she is finishing the series. She has read & loved all of the Harry Potters & most of the Chronicles of Narnia. This series appeals to these fans.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Dread Mountain Review: This series of books not only made my 4th grader who loves to read disappear into it's pages for days on end by also entranced my 5th grader who thinks comic books are real books. The most wonderful part of this series is it's complete lack of that boy/girl mushy stuff that quite frankly my kids don't need yet another dose of!
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Dread Mountain Review: Yes I do like this book. It is a great book for whoever likes adventure. It is confusing if you don't read them in order. It has 128 pages. This book is hard to put down. Once you start reading you can't stop.
