Like Mother, Like Daughter (Gilmore Girls, No. 1)

Summary: You take the good, you take the bad...
Review: You take them both and there you have this book. The good: it is a nice way to get teenage and pre-teen girls interested in a truly great television series. The bad: it takes all the with and exuberance of the actors out of the equation. It also minimizes the simple profundity of the show in order to cram a lot of information into one book.

The bottom line: you won't be offended if you watch the show regularly, but you won't be jumping for joy at the book. I'm also not sure if the writing is true to Rory's character -- but have a glance at it and decide. It's only a few bucks.
