The center was established in 1987 under the Commission on the Bicentennial of the United States Constitution. This book contains 29 lessons to instruct young people about the background and creation of the U.S. Constitution and to give them an understanding of the government that was created using the Constituion as a framework. The principles and ideals that caused the U.S. Constitution to be created and which should still exist today are also addressed. This large textbook contains interesting illustrations and a reference section which includes the biographies of the framers of the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.
