Rating: Summary: cute book Review: I just read this book aloud to my 7 year old son. His favorite character in the book was Junie. We enjoyed this funny book together.
Rating: Summary: A Hoot! Review: I've read 4 of the Junie B. Jones series to my 5 year old daughter. She loves them all. She's especially proud that she's listening to a "chapter book" that takes more than one night's reading to finish.Of the books we've read so far this one is the funniest. It's just laugh out loud funny, for both kids and adults. I heartily recommend it. Barbara Parks has a wonderful way with children's dialog. It's easy to inflect a 5 year old's enthusiam into her voice as you're reading it but it's never sickly sweet or over precocious. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series just as much as my daughter.
Rating: Summary: Junie B Jones Smells Something Fishy (#12) Review: Junie B's class is having pet day, but she can't take Tickle, her dog. Her grandma "steals" Sparkle. (The fish that she brought to Junie B's house.) Will Junie B find another pet in time? Read it to find out. I have two of this one!
Rating: Summary: junie b jones Review: Junie B. Jones is both upset and angry about Pet Day in Room Nine. On Pet Day, you can bring in your pet--unless it's a dog or cat. Unfortunately for Junie B., she has a dog and can't bring it in. Now she must get a good pet to bring in before the big day. However, Junie B.'s idea of a good pet to bring in is a racoon and dead fish! This Junie B. Jones book was just "okay." Nothing wonderful, nothing terrible. In most of the Junie B. Jones books, there's humor on every page. In this one, there was just a little humor in every chapter. However, I really loved the surprise ending. There's no way I could have seen that coming!
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Read! Review: Junie B. Jones is faced with a dilemma when her teacher announces a pet day--but no cats or dogs allowed. Junie B. doesn't want to bring a picture of her pet dog, Tickle, thinking that that is boring, so she decides to ask her parents for another pet. So Junie B. sets out to find a pet of her own. From an earthworm she names Noodle to three ants she finds in the backyard, to the racoon she never catches, to a dead fish she names Sparkle, Junie seems to find no success. What will she bring to pet day? You'll have to read this funny book to find out!

Rating: Summary: Junie B. Jones Smells Something Fishy Review: My parents have read to me all but 3 of Junie B.Jones books and this one is one of my favorites. My favorite part was when Junie B. gets "Sparkles" and drags him around the kitchen. My Mom and Dad laughed when they were reading this book to me too ! So I think kids age 5 to Grownups would enjoy this book ! I can't wait for Barbara Park to write her next Junie B. Jones book !
