Rating: Summary: GREAT!!!!! Review: This one was really really good! It gives you an idea of what Amy's mom was really like. It is sad when Sundance gets the colic, but it is really sad knowing amy's mom didn't live that much longer after when the story is based. You can really see how much Amy has improved with the horses since her moms death. A must for Heartland and horse fans.
Rating: Summary: Read this book! Review: About the book: The upcoming holidays has everyone in a festive mood. Amy Finds Lou upstairs looking at things from last christmas, when their mother, Marion, was still alive. Amy sits down and joins her and they talk about the last christmas. This brings us to a flashback to the previous year. The rest is up to you to find out! (normally i give a small summary of the book, but this one was so good that i dont want to spoil it)
My opinion: A wonderful special edition for the heartland series. Worth the dollars!
Rating: Summary: Heartland Holiday Edition Review: I am absolutely in love with the Heartland series, however, this particular book was a bit of a rude awakening. Not much time was spent in explaining the horses and Amy's time with them, and it was by far the most melodramatic and confusing story yet. I am sure this one is simply one glitch in the Heartland's numerous fascinating stories. I love the rest of 'em, just not quite this one!
Keep readin', writin' and learnin' about horses! They teach us everything!
P.S. Rescue Remedy (r) works on humans and dogs, too, not just horses! I use the Natural Remedy methods at my barn in Duvall, WA.
Love,
Anna
Rating: Summary: Awesome! Review: I bought this book when I first saw it in the Borders book store,a few weeks ago. I loved Season of Hope, that was one of my favorties, but they're all really good. I don't think there's one Heartland book that's bad. Anyways A Holiday Memory was one I could read over and over again. Its about when Amy first met Sundance, and about her first join-up. Lou comes back from New York for the Holidays and when Amy finds out shes leaving early she gets really angry with her sister. Amy slacks off a little and isn't exercising Sundance because he was driving her crazy. Something happens to Sundance that will change Amy's whole outlook on her mom's work and where she belongs. This book was great and I recommend it for all of you fans out there who love this series as much as I do!
Rating: Summary: I was kinda dissipointed Review: Why I loved this book so much is because it takes place back in time when Marion was still alive, but it was her last Christmas with the family. It also is back in time when Amy was just getting to know Sundance and training him, and it takes a severe bout of colic for them to form the strong bond they have now. If you are a true Heartland fan, I suggest this book must be on your bookshelf!
