The illustrations consist of color-drenched, Teletubbies-style panoramas, superimposed with Astroturf, paper cutouts, clay figures, and what appears to be lettuce. The text is straight out of a script designed to get kids excited about sleuthing: "I was wondering," Steve asks, eyebrows skyward, "do you know what all these animals like to eat? You do? Will you get the animals their lunch? Great!" Your kids will hardly notice this isn't TV! (Ages 3 to 6)
