Summary: Junie B., First Grader One-Man Band
Review: Barbara Park's Junie B. Jones Books have been loved by children for years. Her new series has Junie B. in first grade. Now fifth in the series is Junie B., First Grader One-Man Band.
We find Junie B. back in room one with her teacher Mr. Scary. The class has a kick ball tournament and she dreams of becoming the star player until she injures her piggie toe during practice.
She is devastated but her parents teach her that llife has disappointments and she can turn lemons into lemonaide.
I give the book a four star rating. My daughters and I enjoyed it. Barbara Park's characters are realistic and the story is easy reading and a lot of fun.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great book with loads of fun!
Review: I've read every single Junie B. book. and I think this one is the best. Me and my sisters laughed our heads off while reading this book. So I think this is a very good book.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Bad influance
Review: This story is not the best of the group. I have four siblings: Nikki, 5; Gracie, 7; Danny and Bobby, 6 1/2. I've read them the Junie B. Jones series for a few years now, but when I finished reading them THIS story, I was a bit dissipointed. I personally think this one set a bad "Moral" on this little kids. Junie B. always seems to get her own way and talks back to adults. Nikki broke her arm 6 weeks ago...around the same time I finished reading them Junie B., First Grader: One-Man Band. Nikki's class had a baseball championship while her arm was broke. She said she wanted to be in a halftime show and wanted everybody to feel bad for her. She had said, "I wanna be in a show! That's what happened with Junie B.!" I also noticed they all picked up a bad case of the "Back-talk Bug". They started back-talking to my Mom and Dad...even their teachers!!!!!!!!! They said, "Junie B. never gets yelled at by her teacher! Just sent to the pricipal's office and given a warning!" They also picked up her bad language. I reccomend the rest of the series, but i'd skip the First Grader's because they're not as funny. And Junie B. is even worse at getting what she wants.
