Review: Bought this book as a Christmas gift for my nieces and nephews (ages 2 - 8). Both art and story were loved by all. Looking forward to the rest of the Ernest books, and I know the kids are too.

Review: This is a wonderful story about friendship that captures the importance of accepting each other regardless of our differences. Children will fall for the determined little donkey, Ernest, as he gives the stubborn horse, Twist, a great life lesson in love and friendship. My 6 and 3 year old boys have taken these two characters into their imaginary worlds and now create their own adventures that take place on the farm. The illustrations are masterful and real, yet cuddly enough to capture the attention of pre-reading youngsters. The text is to the point and interesting as the story unfolds. You'll find yourself rooting for the donkey from the outset and when he finds success, you feel the warmth of the bond the two characters have discovered. We hope that there will be more work from this wonderful new author and look forward to reading more about our new friends, Twist & Ernest!
