Summary: The best book in the world!
Review:
This is a funny novel about a young teenage girl. It is the fifth book in the great series Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging. The book is formatted in diary form. Georgia Nicolson's diary to be exact.
This diary is about teenager Georgia Nicolson whose cat Angus has had kittens with "Mr. And Mrs. Across the street" cat Naomi. She also has to deal with life without her beloved Robbie.
The author, Louise Rennison, is writing the series based on events that happened to her when she was Georgia's age. Although all the events may not have exactly happened to her as they are in the books they are somewhat like that. Louise lives in Brighton, England. She has two goldfish that she calls "her biggest fans."
The other books that come before this one are, Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging, On the Bright Side I'm Now the Girlfriend of a Sex God, Knocked Out By My Nunga-Nungas, and Dancing in My Nuddy Pants. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes something funny and exciting to read. If you are a girl you might like this book better. But if you are a boy you could still read this book. I recommend that you read the series in order, because if you don't you might be a little lost. So go pick yourself a copy today and start to read!

Summary: Another great installment...
Review: 'Away Laughing on a Fast Camel' is even better than the previous books in the series. Louise Rennison continues to write hillariously funny books detailing the adventures of Georgia Nicolson. Although some of the jokes become repetitive (after hearing them in previous books), there are plenty of new laughs and scenarios to hold your interest. A must read!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Perfect summer read.
Review: After a short break Louise Rennison has returned with the increasingly popular diary style books about our teenage girl heroine Georgia, unlucky in love and just plain unlucky at times!
When we last left Georgia she was suffering when her boyfriend Robbie had decided to leave England and go to New Zealand for a year. At the start Georgia is naturally upset but soon manages to recover and sets her eyes on new boys!
Louise Rennison has packed in the laughs in this new book and is a vast improvement on the previous two titles. It is also much longer compared to the other books which with it's fast paced plot always felt much too short. As usual Rennison manages to make the reader laugh out loud in many parts of the book, with Georgia and her friends' antics which are frankly hilarious and any reader will be zooming through this book. Even better there is more newly invented words guaranteed to have you saying them too!
A lot of people have complained that Rennison has used the same plots in this book as in her previous books and it is true and sometimes disappointingly obvious. However, Rennison has such a refreshing and unique style that she can make anything interesting and very, very funny!
Away Laughing on a Fast Camel isn't a literature master piece but it will make you laugh HARD for a few hours and wonder if anyone really has this sort of life!

Summary: still fab after 5 books
Review: Georgia Nicolson is depressed after Robbie leaving for kiwi-a-gogo land, and her friends aren't very comforting. Things get worse when dave the laugh gets a girlfriend after leading her on. his explanation is that he's still got the general horn, so he and georgia sort of decide to be just friends(with benefits of course!) And she doesn't mind, because she has found a replacement sex god in the form of Masimo, the new lead singer of the Stiff Dylans. Georgia finds a book in her mother's room that tells how to make any man fall in love with you, and she is determined to put her new-found skills to use. This book had just as many laughs as the last ones, if not more. it is really much better than nuddy pants, and is just as good, if not better than sex god and nunga nungas. Have fun!

Summary: It is hilarious
Review: I found this book to be a fun read. It is written in the first person from the perspective of a teenage girl in England. The "lingo" is a bit hard to follow, but one can easily begin to feel a part of Georgia's life and understand her feelings. The book moves a mile a minute, as does Georgia's multi-faceted world. She has parents that embarass her, a little sister that "LUUUUURVES" her and a very promiscuous tomcat named Angus. She talks a lot about snogging, (kissing), her desire to make a boy fall in love with her, her friends and how they are way too immature for her and how frustrating it is to be in a family of "crazies"!
Every teenager could find something they'd relate to in this book. They will surely laugh outloud, as I did, while reading it.

Summary: after five books it still has its magic touch!
Review: I have read all of the georgia nicolson series, and this one, was one of the best ones- (I love them all...but this one was a treat!) I had one scenario when I read the book, and I was laughing for so long, and so hard in my room, my brother thought I was crying! He came in after I stopped laughing- (which was about an hour!! :) and asked me what was wrong! I love the georgia nicolson series! I own all of the series, and I am always re-reading them. I really recommened this book to ones who want a good laugh, and if you want some cheering up when your down! I love georgia, because she always looks on the bright side of all of her dilemas, and she is a relaxed person- not necisarily a role model, but very nice, and a bit caring- (when she wants to be!) Georgia deals with all problems that every teenager has, so you can really relate with her Georgia also has a crazy mutti and vati, a cat that drives her nuts, and of course, a little sister-Libby-( who is bonkers!). You will love these books- and will never be happier to read- ta ta 4now!

Summary: Another Great Book in the Series
Review: I think that this book is better than the last one in this series. Georgia is 16 years old now and she is crying over the Sex God leaving her behind. She still has a thing for Dave the Laugh but meets a new guy in this book
Georgia's parents are focused on more in this book and her wise cracks about them are hilarious. I laughed out loud multiple times when reading it. The only thing that I don't get is the title. I might have missed something while reading!
Worth buying and reading. It is a quick read, only taking me a couple nights to do so.
If you haven't read any of the other books in the series, here is the list in the order they should be read:
1. Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging
2. On the Bright Side, I'm now the Girlfriend of a Sex God
3. Knocked out my my Nunga-Nungas
4. Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants
5. Away Laughing on a Fast Camel

Summary: laughing A LOT on a Fast Camel
Review: I was at first concerned that this (the fifth book in the series) would be just a repeat of the other four books, with the humour growing stale. IT WAS NOT. I started reading it in the bookstore, and I absolutely pissed myself laughing. I was nearly asked to leave. It has a hilarious plot, with lots of (my favorite) Angus action, introducing Angus offspring! Excellent!
I totally recommend this book for those who've read the rest of the series. It has to be one of the best. ( And a hot new love intrest doesn't hurt.)
One thing though--why can't I have a Horn Adviser too? It would make life so much easier! Some people have all the luck...

Summary: I was away lauging on a fast camel
Review: The titles of the books before this one can be slightly racy. Although this makes the even more fun, This one especially is laugh out loud funny. I can never put it down. Its one of the books that when you read it you stay up all night to finish it but then are dead the next day. All the Georgia books are great but this one is even better. Shee does so many hiarious off the wall things that we as adolecents always do we can do nothing but read the traumas of another girls life. This is a great summer read specially with iced tea!!!!!!!
In this book she tries to survive with out the sex god and sees if she has the cosmic horn for dave the laugh. Robbie seems to have taken a back row in this book which is somewhat dissapointing . All in all though this book is just as lol as the others.
