Summary: Durable fun for everyone
Review: I have a 17 month old and a 3 year old and they both like this book. I use it with my 3 year old to help with his sensory issues, and I use it with my 17 month old to help expand her vocabulary. Recommend!

Summary: My favorite baby gift!
Review: I just love ALL the books in this series. My children just loved them when they were little, and if you've ever had babies you know how valuable a good book is -- you get to sit down for a while! They were fun for me to read and really fun for them to explore. In fact, I've already packed them away in their hope chests for when they grow up and have children.
Now, whenver I know anyone who has had a baby, these books (as many as I can find) are my gift.

Summary: A Favorite from day 1
Review: My 10 month old loved this book from the first day we read it and still loves it at 12 months. The touch and feel aspect of the book keeps him very interested.

Summary: Always a first pick
Review: My 16-month old son loves this book, as well as the touch and feel book about puppies. We keep this one in the car, and he is always anxious to read it. He talks to the dogs, and talks to the chicks. He has learned to pet our australian shepherd on the tummy like he does to the border collie in the book. This book is a fantastic tool to teach children how to identify and respect animals.

Summary: Great book for special needs children with a tactile need!
Review: My 6 year old son is developmentally disabled. He loves to look at bright pictures and feel different textures. This book is great for both. Although he is six we usually resort to tactile toys intended for infants. How refreshing to find a book that suits his needs and doesn't look babyish! The other books in this series are great as well. Zoo animals, Dogs, and Cats.

Summary: Baby Goes to this First
Review: My baby loves this book. We recently were camping with families having kids aged 7 mo. to 6 years, and all of them enjoyed going through and feeling the "farm animals." A definite winner!

Summary: So much fun
Review: My six month old daughter starts to giggle and shake when I pull this book out. She loves this book. I read it to her and let her feel all the animals. Everytime I turn the page she squeals with excitement. I love that it is a board book, too. She can hold it and gum it like babies do with EVERYTHING and it is not ruined. This is a real fun book to read to babies. There are never too young. This one is perfect because she can see the pictures and feel all the fur.

Summary: Great Reading for the Car
Review: My son loves this book so much he has a copy of it in the car which he often looks at it when we're going to day care or coming home.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A great first book
Review: Our six month old loves to touch the different animal textures while we talk to her about them. It is a nice, sturdy board book.

Summary: Terrific First Book for parents and baby!
Review: The touch and feel books by DK are terrific. The photographs are large and wonderful and the items to feel are an excellent tool for your youngster. These books are fine for very young babies as well as toddlers. Your child will learn the name of each animal as well as the sound the animal makes. The first coherent sound my son made was "Moo". These books are perfectly sized for you and your baby to read. Moreover, your child can even read to him/herself as the board book pages are thick enough for a young child to turn. I recommend all of the DK books. As your child grows, the series grows also. These books also make a wonderful birthday or holiday gift. Highly recommended.
