Summary: Funny Book For All Ages
Review: Funny, Funny, Funny. If you have read Sideways Stories From Wayside School and Wayside School Is Falling Down you will NOT want to miss out on Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger. Of course it still has the same characters, but better and funnier problems. No one changes well....Louis (the yard teacher) won't let the kids run or yell outside. If they yell they have to sit on the bench. If they run on the blacktop they have to go back, want to know why? Read the book. So in my opinion Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger is probably my favorite book of all time.

Wayside School gets a little stranger
by Louis Sacher

After closing for 242 days to get rid of cows, everyone's favorite 30 story school is open again!
In chapter 2 a message from the principal Mr. Kidswatter says "What a bunch of baloney! There I was lying on a beach in Jamaica when suddenly i got a fax that the stupid school was open again! Those kids better not bother me. My friends? What a joke! Like I'd want to be friends with those little snot-nose" over the intercom.
I think everyone who can read would like this book. Really it's that funny.
Another funny part is in chapter 20 Elevators. Where Mr. Kidswatter says "Good morning boys and girls. I have a very important announcement elevators have been installed in our school! Now before you all rush out to use the elevators I want to talk a little bit about the elevators. There are two elevators One is blue. one is red. When you want to go up, you take the blue one. When you want to go down you take the red one. It's that simple. I can not go wrong!" So finally Wayside School got elevators. A blue one and a red one. They each worked perfectly one time-and never could be used again.
In my own system out of 10 I give this book a 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.
Really it's that funny.

Summary: The Stories Get Even Wackier
Review: The stories about Mrs. Jewls' class get even wackier in the third book about the school that was built sideways. In "Wayside School Gets A Little Stranger", we start off knowing that Wayside School was closed for 243 days (excuse me if I'm not right). Then it finally re-opens and all the kids are overjoyed. Over the next couple of weeks, Dameon notices something different about Mrs. Jewls. She tells the class she is going to have a baby, so that means they're going to have a substitue teacher (or a couple). The first one, Mr. Gorf, can in-hale people's voices up his nose. The next, Mrs. Drazil, Louis' former teacher, makes Louis civilized and can really be quite mean. The last one, Ms. Nogard, has an ear on her head, and falls in love with Louis. This was a great book and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Summary: Jump rope rhymes
Review: Thirty more chapters in the story of Wayside School, which is thirty stories high since it was accidentally built on its side. This is a great book, and probably my favorite in the Wayside School series. The stories are phenomenally quirky, and maintain an upbeat sense of optimism without preaching at all. Nearly all of the chapters work as stand-alone stories, although their degree of interrelatedness grows towards the end. For me, there were two standout stories. In the first, a boy is sent to the counselor because he can't stop himself from pulling Leslie's pigtails. He is hypnotized to stop, but also to see her ears as delicious candy when she uses the word pencil. In the last few paragraphs, Leslie breaks her pencil point, sharpens it, and then drops it beneath Paul's desk, but never uses the word pencil, ending the story without the expected climax. In the other one, a substitute teacher arrives with a third nostril, through which he sucks up the voice of every child as he or she speaks. Eventually the cafeteria worker Miss Mush saves the day with a Pepper-Pie-induced sneezing fit returning things to normal. I am so glad that one of Sachar's books was made into a movie that I enjoyed, because otherwise I would never have heard of him.
The Good and the Bad:
The writing is accessible and funny, to both young people and adults. The level of silliness is perfect, although there is one schmaltzy moment at the end that seemed out of whack with the rest of the book. But since this is an isolated incident, I'll give it a pass; kids will probably eat it up anyhow, and a book of thirty stories can afford to have one strong moral, I suppose.

Summary: TERRIFIC!
Review: This book is about the students in the 30th story of Wayside School. First you ought to know something: Wayside School was built sideways. It had 30 stories. The 30th story is the best. Something freaky happens. The students on the 30th floor once had a teacher named Ms. Gorf. She was horrible. They got rid of her. Then, a substitute came. Guess the name. The name was Mr. Gorf. The students go through an adventure and Mr. Gorf goes. However, when a teacher goes, a new teacher comes. And a new teacher came. It was Ms. Drazil. Soon, she goes too. Then, like I said before, when a teacher goes, another teacher comes. That's what happened. Ms. Norgard comes, and trouble comes along with her.

Don't miss this book! It's definitely worth the money.

Summary: Wayside school is a little stranger
Review: Wayside School is getting Stranger

It's stories in wayside school. In Mrs. jewels class because they are left alone because the subs are mean. But Mrs. Jewels is having her baby that's why substitutes are there and the kids want Mrs. Jewels back. But then some thing bad happends to the students.
I think this book is great because it's really funny and it's really great to read a that is great for them but thing I hate is it's a short story but if it was longer it would begreat.
