Summary: This book makes it so easy to draw good horses!
Review: For those who loves drawing and loves horses, this is the book for you! With step-by-step instructions, it's a pretty easy book to follow. For kids 9 and older, "Draw 50 Horses" bye Lee J. Ames is great for drawing in your scrapbook, onto your notebooks, on cards, etc.

Some different pictures of horses you can draw are many portraits, at least twelve different types of horses, and plenty of pictures of horses walking, cantering, galloping, grazing, performing, jumping, and more! My favorite pictures to draw are most probably the 'Portrait Rearing', 'Arabian', 'Thoroughbred', 'Pinto', 'Jumping #2', 'Rearing Front View', 'Cantering #2', 'Galloping Side View', and 'Colt'.

Of course all of the "Draw 50" series are great, be sure to check them all out! The books I want are "Draw 50 Athletes", "Draw 50 Famous Faces", "Draw 50 People of the Bible".

Review: I love this book! I gives really easy instructions so you can draw really good horses, even if you couldn't before. It even tells you what kind of pencils and supplies you should have if you want to draw.

Summary: Impressive, but lacking...
Review: I personally feel that this book is for the established artist who knows his basic concepts in art. For the newbie, this might not be the one for you. The drawings within are definitely for those of a slightly higher level.

However, if you are looking to pratice your equine drawings, this is the way to go. The step-by-step drawings are easily to follow, and the guidelines at the beginning of the book serve as a reminder to improve on your drawing skills.

This is truly a good book for practice. If you need the basics, look somewhere else.
