Rating: Summary: OK by itself... Review: ...but don't buy this book AND 10 Cool Things about Being a Ring Bearer. It is the exact same book, same wording, etc., with only a few gender changes here and there. That wouldn't have been a problem except that my ring bearer and flower girl are siblings in the same household. Now I feel silly giving them identical books. As for this book on its own merits, there is no story to it. I thought it only "sort of" explained the flower girl's role and didn't really make it sound fun.
Rating: Summary: A great book for flower girls Review: I've given this book to two of my nieces, each in a different wedding, and they both loved the story and the beautiful illustrations on every page. It's written with humor and is just right for little flower girls under the age of 8. I also gave my 5-year-old grandson "10 Cool Things About Being A Ring Bearer", the companion book to "10 Cool Things About Being A Flower Girl", and he thought it was "cool". These books are a steal at the price and I highly recommend them.
Rating: Summary: The best flower girl book out there Review: Ms. Paine brings a warm, embracing tone coupled with an education on the "responsibilities" of being a flower girl that would have any little girl excited for her big role in this capacity. The illustrations are beautiful and it is an easy read. I am an event producer and can't keep enough of these in stock for my brides. They are very well received and loved and I even have friends of the bride calling wanting to know where to find these books. Well worth buying!
